◼READING LOG

★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

Graveyard Shift by M. L. Rio

Interesting mystery, each character felt realistic. I found the ending abrupt and a bit unsatisfying but I enjoyed it overall. Might try one of the authors full length books next.

The Long Walk by Steven King

This was my book club's pick for October. Great thriller, it's definitely brutal but I think it works well. I loved the dystopian aspects of it. I'll have to watch the movie soon.

Nausea by Jean Paul Sartre

I found the beginning a bit slow, but enjoyed it the more I read. As someone who has struggled with dissociation from an early age this book resonated with me. Written in the late 30s it definetly reads as such, its not for everyone but its something id like to reread at a later time.

Conclave by Robert Harris

I read this after watching the movie that was also very good, I found Lomeli funny and relatable despite him being an old catholic man. Loved how the mystery behind each of the candidates played out. Ending was great.

William by Mason Coile

A fun little spooky read. I did not see the twist at the end coming. An evil AI taking advantage of smart home appliances was interesting especially with all the AI stuff going on right now.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier: Cut Off One Head

I really loved the artwork for this volume. Plot was good, nothing super high stakes but interesting. Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are my top two favourite Marvel characters so it was awesome to see them together.

Books I started this month but haven't finished *side note I am HATING "A Little Life" so far and am only finishing it out of spite

◼BLOG POST

I setup a little blog section! I dont know how often ill use it but maybe you'll get something from my ramblings! The site overhaul has been taking ages and half the time I think it looks worse than the old one but ive sunk so much time into this I figure I should atleast finish it.

Im not really an eloquent or insightful writer by any means but im hoping to add my thoughts on books/movies/games etc I like eventually. I dont know if ill talk much about my life outside of projects im currently working on because its been a bit depressing lately (grief is a bitch) and I dont think anyone needs to hear that from little ol' me.

I tend to overthink things so entries might disappear or get edited after being posted.

If you got this far, thanks for taking the time to read this :-]!

Side note: ive been trying to figure out how to make tabs like this for weeks and it ended up being so easy I dont know why i couldnt figure it out before lol
